Bollywood ace film-maker Anurag Kashyap on Thursday morning reached to the Versova Police station for interrogation in the alleged sexual assault case filed by actress Payal Ghosh. The Mumbai Police were getting a lot of criticism after they were not summoning the film-maker even after Payal Ghosh filed an FIR against him.
As a result, the actress sought help from Union Minister Ramdas Athawale who gave an ultimatum to Mumbai Police to take strict action against Kashyap in a week or else his party will hold protest in every district of Maharashtra. The union also asked for Y plus security for the actress as there is a threat to her life.
After meeting Athawale, Ghosh also met Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari and asked them to intervene as the Mumbai Police miss-treated her and didn't even summon the film-maker.

Right now, the interrogation of Anurag Kashyap is underway. The actress had registered an FIR against Anurag under Sections 376 (I) (rape), 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty,), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 342 (wrongful confinement) of the Indian Penal Code.
