Recently, Virat and Anushka were spotted at the airport as the
Indian cricket team left for South Africa for their tour. Anushka and Virat
have been quite protective as parents. Vamika is going to be one year old in
January but there is still not a single picture of her on the internet. Her face
is not revealed yet. Virushka wants to give privacy to their girl.
When they were spotted at the airport where paparazzi
were all set to take the pictures, Virat came forward and requested the media
to not click the pictures of the baby. A video also got viral on the Internet
in which Virat was seen requesting the photographers not to take the pictures
of Vamika.
Even after appeal some of the
photographers captured the pictures and shared them on the Internet. Some of
the media houses accepted their appeal and did not share any pictures of baby
Vamika.
In that context, Anushka took to her Instagram and wrote a
thank you note for the paparazzi that did not share the photographs. In the
note, she wrote, "We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most
of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As
parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support
us going forward. "
She further added, "We seek privacy for our child and
would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away
from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement
and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the
matter."

Anushka and Virat always kept Vamika away from the spotlight
and the reason behind this is they want her to choose how she wants to live.
At the end of the note, she wrote, "A special thank you
to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post
images. It was kind and highly mature of you."
The fans also praised the nice gesture of Virat and Anushka. Virat
and Anushka are looking forward to getting the same support from their fans and
media houses.
