Karan Johar on Deepika Padukone trolling
Talking about social media trolling, Karan Johar said, "On this very couch, I thought it was one of the most honest episodes and the most heartfelt episodes that I did with Deepika and Ranveer...All three of us came clean on so much of our emotional heft, so many of our feelings. And then there was a ridiculous kind of after-effect. I just want to put it out there that episode angered me."
"And the reaction angered me. Because I thought it was one of the best episodes. They were outstandingly honest. They were earnest. They spoke so much. They shared so much. They were so gracious. And then you are fu*king talking about some nonsense. I mean what do you know about somebody's personal life and marriage? Tu apne ghar mein dekh na is what I want to tell all of them. I want to show them my fu*king middle finger," added Karan Johar.
What did Deepika Padukone say in KWK Season 8?
For the unversed, things turned ugly when Deepika shared details about the initial days of her relationship with Ranveer Singh on KWK season 8. She said, "I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said 'I just don't want to be attached, don't want to be committed'. And I had fun! And then he came along, so I didn't commit, until he proposed to me. There was no 'commitment' as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other".
