Republic TV editor-in-chief and anchor Arnab Goswami is an epicenter of controversies these days. After resigning from Editors Guild on live television, Arnab Goswami was attacked two miscreants on Wednesday night. When the miscreants failed, they threw ink on the car. His wife Samia Goswami was also with him at the time of the incident. In this case, a police complaint was filed.
According to initial information, the attack was done just 500 meters from his house on Ganpatrao Kadam Marg. Arnab was driving the car. According to the complaint, the attackers came in front of Arnab's car. Tried to break the glass of the car. When they were not successful, they threw ink on the car. Meanwhile, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that we condemn the attempt to attack Arnab Goswami. If there is a complaint in this case then the police should take action as per the existing law.
As per Arnab, the miscreants link to Congress party, as the anchor has criticized Congress's interim President Sonia Gandhi. He also uploaded the video narrating the ordeal and accusing the Congress party of the attack.
