Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday carried out road show in Amritsar, Punjab and showcased his strength amid the peak Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Arvind Kejriwal was joined by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and they roamed the city on poll vehicle outlining why is it important to press 'Jhaadu' (broom) button in Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Arvind Kejriwal stated that if the people vote of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) then he need not to go to the jail. However, if the people vote for BJP, he will again be lodged into Tihar jail. Furthermore, Kejriwal explained why Prime Minister Modi has given a clarion call of 'Abki Baar 400 Paar'. Below is what Arvind Kejriwal said in Amritsar Roadshow-
"They are saying that I have to go to jail again after 20 days...If you press the 'Jhaadu' button, I would not need to go to jail. I would have to if you press any other button. When you press the button, remember why you are doing it, for Kejriwal's arrest or freedom. They are saying '400 paar'... They want 400 seats to end the reservations. If they get the majority, they will end the reservations and the Constitution. There would be no elections, there would be dictatorship.."
'Punjab Banega Hero, 13-0' says Bhagwant Mann
On the other hand, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, "Be united. There are elections in Delhi on May 25. Ask your friends and relatives there to vote. There is a slogan in Delhi, '25 May, BJP gayi'... Punjab's slogan is 'Punjab Banega Hero, 13-0'... All of your love must be a result of our good deeds from the past life. Otherwise, after shaking hands with anyone from Akali Dal, BJP or Congress, you have to count your fingers to see if they have not taken any of them. Don't keep any hopes from them..."
