In a grand ceremony at the Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal took oath as the Chief Minister's office on Sunday. Kejriwal took the oath along with other cabinet ministers- Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain and Rajendra Pal Gautam.
Aam Aadmi Party got a massive mandate in the Delhi Assembly elections as it was elected in 62 of the 70 Assembly constituencies. On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party could only manage to get eight seats.
After taking oath he addressed the people of Delhi and said, "This is not my win, this is the victory of every Delhiite, of every family. In the last 5 years, our only effort has been to bring happiness and relief to every Delhiite."

For the voters of BJP, he said, "Elections are over, it doesn't matter who you voted for, now all Delhiites are my family. I will work for everyone, be it from any party, any religion, caste or strata of society."
During the oath-taking ceremony a banner was seen at Ramlila Ground.
