The month of August has been great in terms of the OTT movies and web shows it has presented all combined to its viewers. Well, the momentum is on in the coming week of the month with some of the finest releases from different genres lined up on different platforms.
The Next 365 Days:
The 365 days franchise after two successful stints is returning with ‘The Next 365 Days’ this time. The last film saw Laura was shot with Massimo thinking of losing all the love in his life, however, she returned but is not the same.
It will be interesting to find out whether the duo will be able to face all the hurdles in the mafia war or is it something else on the plate? The movie is releasing on August 19th on Netflix. Directed by Barbara Bialowas and Tomasz .
House of Dragons:
The Game of Thrones fans is all excited about the release of House of Dragons. The show is a prequel to Game of Thrones and is based on George R.R. Martin's "Fire & Blood."
The series will give insight into how the reign of House Targaryen began 200 years ago. It stars Paddy Considine, Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, Milly Alcock, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Rhys Ifans in important roles. The Miguel Sapochnik directorial is all set to release on August 21st on the Disney+Hotstar.
Tamil Rockerz:
The classic Tamil crime drama is based on piracy. The show will present how an infamous pirate website threatens the entire film industry.
Arun Vijay starrer also features Vani Bhojan and Iswarya Menon in major roles. Set to release on August 19th on Sony Liv. The show is the directorial presentation of Arivazhagan.
Duranga:
Starring Drashti Dhami, Rajesh Khattar, Divya Sheth, Gulshan Devaiah, and others, Duranga is a thriller set to release on Zee5. A Korean drama Flower of Evil remake is a nine-part series presenting how Ira will find out the reality of her husband Sammit in a stint of solving a murder mystery.
Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan’s directorial is set to release on August 19th.
Homemade Love Story:
A Korean classical can also be taken up in your playlist this weekend with Homemade Love Story releasing on Netflix. Starring Jin Ki-Joo and Lee Jang-Woo showcasing the architect son of a rich businessman falling in love with the interior designer at a house remodeling site.
The Korean language love story directed by Hong Seok-Ku will stream from August 19th.
