Five-time world champions, Australia on Friday defeated Pakistan at the MA Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Australia registered an emphatic victory over Pakistan defeating them by 62 runs. Courtesy of Dawid Warner's massive 163 and 'birthday boy' Mitchel Marsh's century, the Kangaroos proved to be too good for Babar Azam & Co. Interestingly, more than the cricketing dynamics, multiple videos of fans who attended the Australia vs Pakistan World Cup 2023 match is going viral.
Two of the videos have garnered massive attention on social media. In one of the videos, an Australian fan was seen chanting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' while Cummins & Co. were defeating Pakistan. The Aussie fan who seems to be attending every World Cup match of the Australian Cricket Team in India screamed 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'. While he screamed, Indians sitting in the stands joined him and also started chanting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
Interestingly, one more video is going viral on social media and it shows a Pakistani fan was stopped from chanting 'Pakistan Zindabad' in the stadium by a cop present there. Going by the viral video, a cop told the Pakistani to not chant 'Pakistan Zindabad' despite the fact he was clearly supporting Babar Azam & Co. The fan who seemed angry for being stopped asked the cop why he was not allowed to chant in support of his country. Thereafter, a stadium official intervened and the matter was sorted out.
