Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana on Wednesday came under the scanner of social media after a post claimed that he liked a controversial post on Instagram. Ayushmann Khurrana who recently attended the auspicious Pran Pratishtha event in Ayodhya allegedly liked a post saying 'mourning the slow demise of India' that was shared in the backdrop of the inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Although Ayushmann Khurrana wholeheartedly attended the Ayodhya event and even shared his pictures from the visit on his Instagram, he was slammed on X for liking the controversial post.
In fact, multiple videos were shared in which Ayushmann Khurrana was seen singing 'Dil Dil Pakistan'. A user wrote, "Ayushmann Khurana liked the picture “mourning the slow demise of India” while attending the event on 22 jan."

During his visit to Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, Ayushmann Khurrana while talking to the media said, "It is a historic moment, thank you so much for inviting me here. Everybody should visit here." Apart from Ayushmann, Bollywood actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and more attended the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya.
