Playback singer Shalmali Kholgade, who is known for the song ‘Pareshaan’ in Ishaqzaade and  ‘Balam Pichkari’ in Yeh Jawani hai Deewani, ties the knot with long-time boyfriend Farhan Shaikh on 22 November.

The intimate ceremony of the two lovebirds took place in the presence of her close friends and family. The news of their wedding came to light after the duo took to Instagram to share her wedding pictures.

On their wedding day, Shalmali wore an orange cotton saree with only jumhkas for the jewellery, and a white ‘gajra’ for the hair bun. And her husband, Farhan Shaikh opted for a plain orange kurta and white chudidaar pyjama. Their wedding garlands were quite interesting as they were made of orange and white pom-poms and photographs of the couple.

Sharing pictures of their big day, Shalmali wrote, "22nd November 2021 is the most precious day in my life thus far! The day I got married to my perfect match @farhanfshaikh"

"We had precisely the kind of wedding we had hoped to have. In the living room of our home with our parents and siblings, a few aunts and cousins," Shalmali added further.

Shalmali and Farhan were dating each other for the past six years. Their wedding was an intimate affair with some close friends and family. But, they are going to throw a reception party for their friends from the industry on December 1.
