In a major development, a member of the notorious Bambiha gang on early Saturday morning escaped from Faridkot hospital where he was admitted by the Police after he was shot in his leg in an encounter in order to arrest him. As per reports, the gangster of the Bambiha group was shot during an encounter with Punjab CIA officers. The absconding gangster has been identified as Shaminder Lal, a resident of the village Chahal district Faridkot and he escaped from the Faridkot Medical College Hospital at 4 am while he was undergoing treatment.
As per reports, the gangster was admitted to the Medical College for treatment 4 days ago when he was shot in the leg. Interestingly, this is the same hospital where gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has been admitted these days, who is reportedly undergoing treatment for typhoid. As a result, Police officials of Bhatinda and Faridkot are busy providing security to Lawrence. In fact, the entire medical college and hospital have been converted into a cantonment-like area. Reportedly, the accused Shaminder Lal was arrested from Bir Sikhanwala Wale on Monday midnight by a team led by CIA staff in-charge Inspector Harbans Singh. However, his escape indeed raises many questions. Now, it will be worth seeing what will be the future course of action of the Punjab CIA.
The Bambiha gang is a rival of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The Bambiha gang was run by Davinder Bambiha, whose real name was Davinder Singh Sidhu. A popular kabbadi player and sharpshooter, he hailed from the Bambiha Bhai village in Moga district.
