Five people were crushed to death while eight others were grievously injured after an over-speeding car rammed three cars and an ambulance on side of the road on the Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai late last night.
The horrific clash which took place at around 3.30 late in the night was recorded on CCTV footage which showed three cars parked on side of the road were rammed by an over-speeding SUV from behind in absolute carnage.
Reportedly, the ambulance present at the crash site was preparing to take victims to hospitals of a different accident that took place at the same spot moments before.

Following the accident, police took the injured to the hospital with the help of local people. Forcing the authorities to close the road from Bandra to Worli.
While briefing the matter to the media a senior police official said 13 people were rushed to the hospital and 5 were declared dead during treatment.
Six injured are in different hospitals while 2 were allowed to leave after treating them for minor injuries, the police official further added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his condolences to the grieving families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
PMO through a tweet from the official handle wrote, "Pained by the loss of lives due to an accident on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai. Condolences to the bereaved families. I hope that those who have been injured have a speedy recovery.
