Ambedkar Jayanti and Regional Festivities -
April 14, 2025, Monday
Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India.
Along with this, the day will also mark regional festivals like Bohag Bihu, Biju, Buisu Festival, Cheiraoba, Maha Vishuva Sankranti, Vishu and Tamil New Year’s Day.
Accordingly, on this day, holidays will be marked in states including Assam, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha, Manipur and Uttar Pradesh.
