A waitress has been arrested by Barcelona police for allegedly cutting off her boss’s penis. According to reports, she did so because he attempted to rape her at the bar.
The incident occurred on Tuesday around 2 am at a bar in Sant Andreu de la Barca. The woman was arrested by officers of the Mossos d’Esquadra, the local police department. She stated that the man attempted to sexually assault her during working shift around midnight. To resist the sex attack, she grabbed the knife and cut off his genitalia.
Following the incident, the waitress contacted the emergency service to the bar to rush the man to local Bellvitge University Hospital. She also called the police to admit mutilating the man.
The woman claimed this was not the first time she was assaulted by her boss. She said that he had forced her to have sex with him on multiple other occasions.
According to reports, the woman is a Bangladeshi national in her thirties. The man’s nationality is not revealed yet but some reports claim him to be from Bangladesh or Pakistan.
After the incident, the man was rushed for emergency surgery, whose status is not revealed yet. The woman was held at a nearby police station. The police are investigating the incident and so far no order of arrest is ruled out due to his condition. The action would be taken once he recovers enough to speak with the police.
A source said, “The woman was the one who contacted police to explain what had happened. She said she had cut off her boss’s penis as he tried to sexually assault her. Her claims are being investigated and the bar owner may be arrested once the hospital says he is well enough to be questioned.”
