In a bizarre development, a Bengaluru Couple found a baby cobra in a package delivered from the E-commerce website Amazon. The Bengaluru couple shared the video on X and lambasted Amazon over the act on Sunday. As per reports, the couple, both software engineers, had ordered an Xbox controller online but were shocked to see a spectacled cobra inside their package. The venomous snake was fortunately stuck to packaging tape, and couldn't cause harm.

The Bengaluru couple also shared their ordeal and how they discovered Cobra inside the package. Upon delivery, the partner handed the package directly to them instead of leaving it outside. “We live on Sarjapur Road and captured the entire incident on camera, plus we have eyewitnesses to the same,” the customer said, as quoted by a news agency. They also shared that the snake did not harm anyone.

Sharing their grievances, the customer revealed that they were put on hold for over two hours by Amazon’s customer support, leaving them to handle the situation on their own. “We received a complete refund, but what do we get for risking our lives here with a highly venomous snake? This is clearly a safety breach caused solely by Amazon’s negligence and poor transportation and warehousing hygiene and supervision. Where is the accountability for such a serious lapse in safety?” the couple questioned.

After Amazon cobra video went viral on social media, the E-commerce website reacted to it. Amazon on X wrote, "We're sorry to know about the inconvenience you've had with the Amazon order. We'd like to have this checked. Please share the required details here: https://amzn.to/3RvxarV, and our team will get back to you soon with an update."

The woman named tanvi then wrote, "Details submitted. Hoping to hear back soon."

In response, Amazon wrote, "Thank you for sharing your details. You must have received an email with the subject line "Your http://Amazon.in Social Media Inquiry". Please check, and you may reply to the same with your insight for further assistance."
