Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that due to the efforts of the state government, the state will soon become a digital hub of the country.
On Tuesday,15th October, CM Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with Daniel Julien, Chairman and CEO of Teleperformance (TP) who is a global leader for outsourced digital business services. Teleperformance is the one of the leading global providers of outsourced digital business services with over 5,00,000 employees all across the globe. The Chief Minister appreciated that Teleperformance has more than 16,000 employees in Mohali.
CM Bhagwant Mann urged Daniel Julien to consider Punjab for further expansion and Daniel accepted the offer. Mann shared that it is a matter of great pride that Teleperformance services has leading clients from across industries, including travel, e-commerce, technology, media and telecom, from its three sites in Mohali. The Chief Minister said that Mohali is becoming one of the IT destinations of India.

With over 16,000 employees in Mohali already, this expansion will create even more job opportunities for the youth and accelerate Punjab’s IT growth.”

CM has promised support and cooperation to the company for their every future expansion plan in Punjab. Meanwhile, Daniel has thanked the Chief Minister for extending full support to their company in the state. He said that with 90,000 employees, TP India represents the largest multicultural team and provides great services to more than 200 clients across different industries from across the globe.
