After completing its theatrical stint, Bhaiyya Ji is all set to be streamed on a major OTT platform. Bhaiyya Ji will be available for streaming on Zee5 from July 26, 2024. Zee5 shared the trailer with the caption, "Robinhood nahi, robinhood ke baap hai! Aa rahe hain Bhaiyya Ji, tabahi machine! (SIC)". Talking about Bhaiyya Ji's characters guide, the movie features Manoj Bajpayee as Ram Charan Tripathi a.k.a. Bhaiyya Ji, Amrit Sachan as Young Bajiyya Ji, Bhageerathi Bai Kadam as Choti Ma (Bhaiyya Ji's step-mother), Zoya Hussain as Mithali, Jatin Goswami as Abhimanyu Singh, Suvinder Vicky as Chandrabhan Singh, Vipin Sharma as SI Magan, Abhishek Ranjan as Ravi, Acharya Anant as Bhola, Akash Makhija as Vedant, Amrendra Sharma as Niyaz and more in the leading roles.
Manoj Bajypee in his earlier interview with a news wire shared what the film is about and his reaction to the first time he heard the script. The actor shared that the plot of the movie is rooted in Indian soil and argued that these stories need to be heard. He said, “Bhaiya Ji's story is the story of Bihar, the film is about our soil, sometimes we should talk about our soil."
Bajpayee remembered telling the director that he would have done the film 10 years ago. "When Apoorv Singh Karki heard this story, he said that he would make this film with me, on this, I replied that let's talk to some other hero, then he said that you should do this film. I agreed and said it would have been fine if I had done such a film 10 years ago, but today when this film has been made, I feel proud," Manoj Bajypee was quoted saying.
