After the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, there is a big threat of gang war between Bambiha and Lawrence gang. The Bambiha gang announced to take revenge for Moosewala's murder. Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Mankirat Aulakh, and gangster Lawrence received death threats. After which Sukhpreet Budha has been taken on production warrant from Bathinda Jail.
However, the police have brought him on paper in the case of not giving a search to the jail officials and threatening to kill them. To avoid a possible gang war, the officials are making every effort to get Sukhpreet Budha to reveal his strategy against the Lawrence gang.

They are both currently in Punjab Police's custody. The Center issued a warning that the Bambiha gang shooters might execute this murder by working as a court employee or an attorney. The Bambiha gang recently attacked Saraj Mintoo, Lawrence's partner, in Bathinda jail. Mintu was also involved in the murder of Moosewala.
