New Delhi: In a big blow to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 5 BJP leaders have resigned from the party to join other political parties for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections commencing from April 11. With the General Elections approaching, the political arena is getting ready for biggest of the contest in every 5 years.
Harish Chandra, the nephew of Odisha Chief of BJP Basant Kumar Pandya resigned from BJP and joined Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the presence of the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik.

BJP leader Devi Singh Bhati from Bikaner also resigned from the party saying, " I am resigning due to the activities of BJP MP Arjun Ram Meghwal which are against the philosophy of the party. I have also conveyed this to the senior leaders but maybe they have decided to give a ticket to Meghwal once again".
Along with these two leaders, the other leaders who resigned are MP Ram Prasad Sharma from Assam alleging the party to ignore the party workers, Former CM of Uttarakhand BC Khanduri's son Manish and MP Shyamacharan Gupta from Allahabad.
