Recently, three major actions have been taken by the government of Punjab. All these cases are under Vigilance Bureau's investigation. The vigilance Bureau has started its investigation and there are possibilities that big disclosures will be made soon. The names of many big leaders and officers are expected to come forward.  

The cases under investigation include:

DSP Faridkot Lakhvir Singh's arrest corruption case:  Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Faridkot Lakhvir Singh was arrested in a corruption case by Punjab Police on Thursday. But later, his case was transferred to Punjab Vigilance Bureau to ensure a free, fair, and impartial investigation into this case. DSP Lakhvir Singh was arrested by the Tarn Taran Police on Wednesday for accepting Rs 10 lakhs as a bribe from a drug supplier for not nominating him in the FIR registered under NDPS Act in Tarn Taran.

Amritsar Improvement Trust ex-chief Dinesh Bassi: Dinesh Bassi, a congress leader, was arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) due to alleged irregularities while he was the chairman of the Amritsar Improvement Trust (AIT). According to the Trust's complaint, Bassi and other workers committed "infirmities/illegalities" in the empanelment of a contractor.

IFS officer's arrest in corruption case: In a corruption case, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau arrested Vishal Chauhan, an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer posted as conservator of forest planning. The arrest has been made after conducting interrogations of the arrested Divisional Forest Officer of Mohali Guramanpreet Singh and contractor Harmahinder Singh in the case.

The vigilance is investigating all of these cases and in some days, some shocking revelations can be made by the Bureau. Many big leaders and officers are said to be involved in these cases.
