Punjab and Haryana High Court has disposed of the petition filed against MP Raghav Chadha's appointment as the Chairman of the government's advisory committee. The High Court has asked the government to take the decision on this. Apart from this, the government has been asked to inform about it at its level. The High Court did not issue a notice in this matter. Nor will it be heard further.
Regarding the hearing in the High Court, the public prosecutor Gurminder Singh said that the petitioner called the appointment of MP Chadha contrary to the Constitution. However, the public prosecutor argued that it was not against the Constitution. Many governments make such committees for themselves. After which the HC said that the government should take a decision at its level and inform the petitioner about the reason.
