In a big rejig in the Punjab Police, the Punjab Government's Department of Home Affairs transferred SSPs & IPS officers of 28 districts. IPS officer Satinder Singh who was posted as SSP Amritsar (Rural) has been promoted to DIG Rank and is now posted to look after the work of DIG Border Range, Amritsar. IPS Officer Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh who was posted as AIG, AGTF (Jalandhar) has now been posted as SSP Jalandhar (Rural). Officer Diljinder Singh Dhillon who was posted as AIG in CID Jalandhar has been transferred to Pathankot as SSP. Officer Gagan Ajit Singh who was posted as
SSP Sadak Surakhya Force (SSF), Punjab has now been transferred to SSP Malerkotla.
