Sushant Singh Rajput's case is turning out to be political. Bihar IPS Officer Vinay Tiwari on Sunday reached Mumbai for a thorough investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. However, he was soon forcibly quarantined by the BMC. Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey revealed on his twitter that IPS officer Binay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11pm today. He was not provided accommodation in the IPSMess despite a request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaw."
However, BMC gave its clarification and said, "Administration got information of arrival of a Bihar Police officer yesterday. Being a domestic air traveler, he needed to be guided for home quarantine as per state govt notification of May 25. A team guided him to apply for exemption in-home quarantine period as per government notification."
Now, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has responded to this. As per the ANI report, Nitish Kumar said, "Bihar DGP will speak with the authorities there. Whatever happened with him (Binay Tiwari) is not right. It is not political. Bihar Police is carrying out its duty."
Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kkirti also raised questions on Maharashtra State Government and BMC. She wrote, "What? Is this even for real? How can an officer sent on duty be quarantined for 14 Days? #JusticeForSushant"
