In a heartbreaking development, Team India's legendary off-spinner Bishan Singh Bedi on Monday passed away at the age of 77. Bishan Singh Bedi's death was confirmed by multiple newswire on social media who quoted sources in the known development. Bishan Singh Bedi along with Erapalli Prasanna, BS Chandrasekhar, and S. Venkataraghavan, was known as the architect of a sort of revolution in the history of Indian spin bowling.
As soon as Bishan Singh Bedi's death was confirmed on social media, condolence started to pour in on social media. Talking more about Bishan Singh Bedi, when he was only 15, he first played for Northern Punjab. Reports suggest that Bishan Singh Bedi moved to Delhi in 1968–69 and in the 1974–75 season of the Ranji Trophy, he took a record 64 wickets. Bedi also represented Northamptonshire in English county cricket for many years as well.
