The countdown for the biggest concert in Punjab has begun as Diljit Dosanjh is all set to set the stage on fire on December 31, 2024. Diljit Dosanjh will conclude his Dil-Luminati Tour by performing live in Ludhiana on New Year's Eve. Diljit's Concert tickets have already been sold out and the local administration expects 30 to 40,000 fans to attend the event. To maintain law and order on New Year's Eve, Ludhiana Commissioner of Police (CP) Kuldeep Singh Chahal has already reviewed the security and will soon the travel advisory in the upcoming days.
In the meanwhile, former Chairman of the Censor Board & BJP leader Amarjeet Tikka has urged Diljit to postpone his Ludhiana Concert on December 31. Former Chairman of the Censor Board, Amarjeet Tikka, commented that Dr. Manmohan Singh was a leader who globally promoted the significance of the turban. He stated that leaders of such stature, capable of leading the nation, are rare today. Tikka further mentioned that the entire nation is in mourning and that the seven-day period of official mourning is a time for solemnity.
Thereafter, he expressed hope that Diljit, who has always shown great respect for Dr. Manmohan Singh, would consider rescheduling his show. Tikka remarked that the people of Ludhiana would remain supportive and understand the gravity of the situation. He concluded by saying that this is not the right time for such celebrations and expressed confidence that Diljit would move his show to a later date.
Former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, passed away on Thursday night at the age of 92. As a mark of respect, a seven-day national mourning has been announced across the country. In this context, a demand has arisen to postpone Diljit Dosanjh’s grand show scheduled in Ludhiana on December 31.
