After the Congress party wrote to the Governor of Goa Mridula Sinha about the declining health of Goa CM Manohar Parrikar, BJP seems to be in haste as the party has rushed its leaders to Goa who had a meeting with the state leaders of the party and have maintained Manohar Parrikar to be their leader.
"The Chief Minister's health has deteriorated, but he is stable. He is not on life support. I don't know what medical term we can use for it. The Chief Minister's Office has said he is stable, so we will take it that he is stable," said Vijai Sardesai, the president of Goa Forward Party confirming the stable health of the Goa CM.
"Consequent upon the sad demise of Francis D'Souza, MLA, who belonged to the BJP, it is humbly submitted that the incumbent BJP-led state government under the leadership of Manohar Parrikar, which has long lost the trust of the people and now also lost strength in the House," the opposition had written to the Governor.

"It is, therefore, incumbent upon you to dismiss the state government led by the BJP to ensure that the Indian National Congress, which is the single-largest party in the august House and is presently enjoying the majority, be called to form government," he added.
The Congres party has a lead over BJP in Goa assembly which has 40 seats with 14 seats in comparison with BJP's 13. The BJP had got support from 3 MLAs with 3 seats currently vacant.
