Reports of the formation of a new CBI team in the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's case have raised many questions in the mind of people who are following this case closely. Going by the reports of Pradeep Bhandari (Republic TV Consultant Editor), a new CBI team has been formed in Sushant Singh Rajput's case to do further investigation.
Pradeep revealed that according to his own credible source, a new CBI team has been formed in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. But it does not mean the old CBI team has been disbanded. New members of the CBI have been filled in the old team who will further investigate the case.
However, the question arises why the CBI had to include new members in its team? Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mumbai Secretary Advocate Vivekanand Gupta has tried to explain this.
"Thr are various steps in investigation. One team work over so next team comes in to evaluate evidence and take the case forward. So that a strong case is made out. Which can stand the scrutiny of law. But top officers r same. It's part of investigation process.
"The major assignments, as well as corresponding general duties and responsibilities in a investigation 1. Team Leader 2. Photographer and Photographic Log Recorder 3.Sketch Preparer 4.Evidence Recorder/Evidence Recovery Personnel 5.Specialists.. The team leader never changes."Gupta also took an indirect jibe at the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra State Government. He wrote on Twitter, "The 'Golden Hours’ of the initial phase of investigation of a major case such as murder, homicide or kidnappings/abduction is really crucial. And we all know what happened In #SushantSinghRajput case during the "Golden Hours"
On the formation of new CBI team, Gupta wrote, ""new team "is in addition to the "old team". Hope it's clear. It's due to various stages of investigation. Let thr be no confusion, no doubts."
