Ni-MSME, an Organization of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India recognized B.K.M. College of Education, Balachaur as its Authorized Training Centre (ATC) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship programs.
These programs by Govt. of India aim to enhance the professional skills of youth and cop up with the issue of unemployment unskilled youth in India. As an ATC the college will train the students in ten skill- based courses: Diploma in Nursery teacher’s training (2 years), Nursery Teacher’s training (1 year), Diploma in Fire & Safety Management (Duration 1 Year), Advance Diploma in Fire & Safety Management (6 Months), Certificate in Fireman (6 Months), Diploma in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (6 Months), Certificate in Digital Marketing (3 Months), Early Childhood Care & Education (1 year), Certificate in Nanny (6 months) and Yoga Teacher’s Training (1 year).
The students who have completed 10th or 10+2 are eligible to get enrollment in most of these courses. These courses have wide array of scope both in India and abroad. Students can also secure Government jobs after completing these courses. It is worth mentioning here that the authorities of Ni- MSME, NCFSE Group of Institutions (National Training Partner) and State Training Associate Anand Group of Colleges Amritsar will guide and monitor the ATCs for smooth conduct of these courses.
The College Management shall grant special fee concession to the selected First Ten Candidates seeking admission in the college.
Principal Dr. Balbir Singh Jamwal remarked that it is a matter of honour for the college to be recognized as the first ATC in S.B.S. Nagar (Nawanshahr) District by Govt. of India. These recognized courses which the college would offer are professional and job oriented. After passing these courses even a 10th pass could get high salary employment in India and abroad.
