A case of vehicles catching fire has come to light in the car market near Jinda Phatak. The video of this incident is also going viral. According to reports, the incident took place at the Trehan Car Bazaar, in front of CGS School adjacent to Jalandhar-Amritsar National Highway, Jinda Phatak. During this, there was chaos among the people and attempts were being made to extinguish the fire. It can also be heard in the video that quite a large number of expensive vehicles were set alight including BMWs and Audis.

 

It is being told that vehicles suffered a lot of damage due to this incident. It can be heard in the video that many vehicles got locked due to fire. According to the information received, the fire broke out at 7:00 am on Friday. The incident took place in Trehan Car Bazaar, in front of CGS School, adjacent to Jalandhar Amritsar National Highway, Jinda Phatak. Passersby told that the Audi car caught fire first. After which about five vehicles were suddenly engulfed in fire. It was fortunate that the fire was controlled in time. Otherwise there were more than 20 cars parked nearby.

 

The nearby area was alerted when people saw black smoke rising. Immediately after, the information about the matter was first given to the car market owner and then the information was given to the fire brigade control room. The nearby onlookers and the fire brigade team somehow brought the fire under control after 2 hours of hard work. Five vehicles were badly burnt in the incident. Several other vehicles were damaged as well. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Police Station Division No. 1 also reached the spot.
