Plane Crash In China: A Boeing plane crashed in China in which 133 passengers were on board. Interestingly, China lifted the ban on this plane in December of last year itself. Before that in 2019, many countries had announced a ban on aircraft flights.
A plane carrying 133 passengers has crashed in China. This is the same Boeing 737 aircraft whose operation was stopped in many countries of the world.
This 737 MAX aircraft of American aviation company Boeing was becoming a victim of frequent accidents. China had also allowed the Boeing 737 to fly again on December 2 last year and now the accident happened three months later.
A year before China, the US approved the Boeing 737 MAX to fly in December 2020, while the European Union's regulatory body gave its nod in January. Countries like Brazil and Canada have also approved flights of 737 MAX aircraft.
In India too, the airline SpiceJet has 13 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in its fleet. The company has not operated any commercial flights since March 2019. India's aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) lifted the ban on commercial flight operations of 737 MAX aircraft on 26 August 2021 after nearly two and a half years.
It should be noted that the Lion Air plane of Indonesia was a victim of an accident on 29 October 2018, in which 246 people died. At the same time, the Ethiopian Airlines plane also crashed on 10 March 2019.
Since then, the governments of the country and the world have banned Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
China had given permission only three months ago
In China too, the Airlines Regulatory Authority approved the Boeing 737 MAX flights after it was technically upgraded.
China Aviation Daily, quoting the Civil Aviation Administration of China, had reported that Chinese pilots will have to undergo fresh training before commercial flights can resume.
However, this decision proved to be wrong for China and three months after the permission, the plane again crashed.
For the families of the passengers aboard the plane, China Eastern has issued a special hotline number. The relatives of the passengers aboard the plane can get information by calling +864008495530.
Earlier on Monday, a Qatar Airlines flight from Delhi made an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan. This plane was going to Doha. About 100 passengers were on board it. Later the passengers were sent to Doha by another plane.
