A Boeing 737 commercial jet carrying 143 passengers slid off from the runway and fell into the St John River near Jacksonville, Florida on Friday. The slipping of the jet took place when the flight tried to land at a military base in a thunderstorm, injuring 21 people.
However, there were no severe injuries or deaths reported. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office informed on Twitter that all 21 people who had been taken to a hospital for treatment were listed in good condition.

As per spokesperson of Florida air base, Boeing 737 was arriving from Naval Station Guantanamo Bay in Cuba with 136 passengers and seven crew members, crashed into the river at the end of the runway at Naval Air Station Jacksonville about 9:40 p.m.
The Jacksonville Sheriff also said on Twitter, “The plane was not submerged. Every person is alive and accounted for.”
The Mayor of Jacksonville, Lenny Curry, informed that US President Donald Trump called him to offer help.
Curry said in his tweet, “No fatalities reported. We are all in this together. Absorb that.”
