Coronavirus has gotten into the Pathan brothers, after days of Sachin and Yusuf Pathan being tested positive for Covid-19, now Irfan Pathan tests positive. Before Irfan, his older brother Yusuf, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and S Badrinath all declared that they had tested positive for COVID-19 on Twitter. Tendulkar announced on Saturday that although he tested positive for COVID-19, all of his other family members at home tested negative. Later on Saturday, Irfan's older brother Yusuf announced to his followers that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and was quarantined at home, adding that he was "taking all the requisite precautions and medications."
Irfan Pathan confirmed on Twitter about him being tested positive. He also mentioned that there were no symptoms observed. Adding on he urged the people who have recently come in contact with him to get themselves tested. Furthermore, he advised everyone to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
Even though the BCCI had made the white ball series against England a closed-door affair after the first two T20Is, the Road Safety series in Raipur allowed spectators to watch until the final game. The Raipur stadium crowds were often seen without masks.
