India celebrated its 75th Independence Day on Monday and entered the 76th year of freedom on Monday. On August 15, patriotism and Central Government's initiative, Har Ghar Tiranga took center stage with the people of India and celebrities coming together to host the Tricolour. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan too celebrated the Indian Independence Day with all his family and shared its video on his social media networking. Shah Rukh Khan on Monday shared a video of him and his family hoisting the Tricolour with his family on India Independence Day. Bollywood's 'King Khan' shared the video with the caption, "Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly."

Following this, SRK's fans hailed him for such a gesture, however, a journalist allegedly of Zee News named Anuj Bajpai took to his Twitter handle and stated that despite such gesture his upcoming movie Pathan will face a boycott. As a result, Shah Rukh Khan started trending BoycottZeeNews trend and slammed the journalist for starting a campaign of boycotting Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's is already feeling the pain of a social media boycott from a particular section of society. In fact, his much-awaited movie Laal Singh Chaddha did not impress people and many of his shows got canceled.
