Khalistan Mob Attack Brampton, Brampton Khalistan Mob Attack: Reenal Patel, a volunteer at Hindu Sabha Mandir, recently narrated the Khalistani mob attack that took place on Sunday. On Sunday, communal tensions arose after a Pro Khalistani mob attacked Hindu Sabha Mandir on Gore Road in Canada's Brampton and also assaulted Hindu devotees present there. After the video of the incident went viral on social media, Justin Trudeau's government came under the scanner. After the major uproar, Canadian PM Trudeau lauded Peel Police officers for controlling the law and order situation. However, he did not name Pro Khalistan protestors who attacked the Hindu temple. This sparked the controversy even more. In fact, PM Modi broke his silence and condemned the violent attack against the Hindus in Brampton, Canada.
Now, Reenal Patel while talking to the media accused the Canadian Police of taking biased actions. Reenal revealed that despite showing the video, the Canadian Police did not take any action against the Pro Khalistan protestors who were involved in violent attacks on the temples and devotees. Below is what she said-
"Indian consulates were supposed to give live certificates to old people here. I was on duty here. When I came here four people of ours were protesting. There were too many Khalistanis present there at around 11 am. I came at 12 pm. When I saw there were too many Khalistanis protestors and we were only 4 people. We did not get any protection from the Police administration. Then I called others to come here and protest against the Khalistanis mob. We were doing peaceful protests, but they started doing Laathi charges. I have all the videos. Then, we had to flee from there. I was also beaten by the Khalistanis. I was also hurt.
But, the Police behaved in such a way that we attacked the Khalistanis. Two to three police officers even Lathi charged on us. I also have their videos. We were treated like second-class citizens. I have never seen such biased Canadian Police. They treated the Canadian Police very poorly. We requested the Police to remove the Khalistanis but the Canadian Police said that they could not do this. We even requested the Police to take action but they said that could not take action and they have to investigate it first. They said this despite the fact there were many videos of the incident available."
