Even after a moving testimony by Britney Spears A Los Angeles Superior Court has dismissed her request to have her father Jamie Spears removed as her co-conservator.
The court ruled out, "The conservator's request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California, N.A. as sole conservator of the estate is denied without prejudice.”
The decision comes after the singer made a plea to end the abusive conservatorship. She claimed that she was medicated to control her behaviour, barred from making friendships or financial decisions. Along with this, she was prevented from having a contraceptive implant removed despite wanting more children.
The judge has heard Britney virtually for 20 minutes. In her virtual testimony, Britney said, “I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years and it’s enough.” She further said, “I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized. I just want my life back.

In her public testimony at the virtual court, the 39-year-old singer had alleged that her father ‘loved the control to hurt his own daughter.’
According to media reports, Britney Spear’s father, Jamie Spears was declared the conservator of her estate and person in 2008 as she had a public breakdown. Last year, Bessemer Trust Company, a wealth management organization, joined Jamie as a co-conservator of the estate.
