An incident of firing in broad daylight has occurred near HMV college in Jalandhar. According to the information received, the robbers fled after taking cash from the pump manager. During this incident, 3 robbers on a bike fired at the Pulsar bike rider. The person was seriously injured due to the bullet firing. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter. ACP Nirmal Singh has reached the incident spot. However, the amount of cash robbed in not known till now. There is an atmosphere of panic among the residents of the area due to the incident. People said that 2 bullets were fired at the spot. Police of Thana 2 is investigating the matter thoroughly. Eyewitnesses on the spot say that 1 bullet hit the injured person's stomach and one in the leg.
Eyewitness said that the accused first made the bike rider fall from the bike. The robbers started firing and fled after snatching the bag from the person. It is being said that the person was going to deposit cash in the bank. During this time the robbers committed the crime. People said that the robber's bike did not have a number plate.
