In a recent incident, it came to light that the same kind of gang rape took place in Bulandshahr as it was in Hathras two years back. The girl, who went to work in the field here, was murdered after being gang-raped. Like in Hathras, the police did not burn the body itself but allegedly forced the family to perform the last rites of the victim only at midnight by intimidating the family.
On January 21, the girl was murdered in the case of a love affair. The boy tried to kill himself too. The incident took place on the outskirts of Bulandshahr. The girl lay dead on the charpoy and the killer was half-conscious, with slits on his neck and wrists.
The girl’s family stated that she was abducted, gang-raped and murdered by a group of Brahmin men. After that, the policemen forced the family members to cremate the girl’s body at midnight, the same as the incident that took place in Hathras in 2020.
However, police died all such allegations. They also claimed that no proof was found related to rape in the post-mortem report. They stated that Saurabh Sharma, a 25-years-old boy and the girl were in a relationship. He killed her in anger as he suspected that the girl was cheating on him. Later, he tried to kill himself too.
The incident came to light when the girl’s family members demanded justice and protested outside the office of Bulandshahr’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
