In a late-night operation on Thursday by the CBI in Delhi, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Gopal Krishna Madhav was arrested on bribery charges. As per officials, the amount was Rs 2 lakh.
As per reports, he was arrested for allegedly receiving a bribe of over Rs 2 lakh in a matter related to GST. After arrest, he was taken to the CBI headquarters for interrogation.
On the arrest of Madhav, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia took on to twitter and asked for strict action against him. He tweeted, "This officer was posted in my office as OSD. CBI should get him punished strictly. I have got many such corrupt officials caught in the last five years."

However, in the election backdrop, members of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) raised question over Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal.
BJP's Amit Malviya took onto twitter and said, "No OSD in a Deputy CM office can accept bribes without the knowledge of his political boss. There have been several allegations of corruption on Kejriwal and Sisodia in the past too."
