The CBI on Saturday grilled the Mumbai Police after it got the detailed autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput. The federal probe teams arrived at the Bandra police station to speak to the police personnel who were on duty on June 14 and visited the flat of the late actor. Another team reached the Cooper hospital where the 34-year-old actor's autopsy was conducted by three doctors.
The federal probe agency also contacted the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to seek medico-legal opinion on the autopsy report of the late actor.
Over two months after Sushant was found dead at his Bandra home, the CBI team has expedited the investigation after the Supreme Court's nod for a federal agency probe on Wednesday.
As per Republic media reports, the CBI has questioned the Mumbai Police that why they did not seek another opinion on the postmortem report. The postmortem report has raised many unanswered questions. According to the report- Sushant had a 33 cm long 'ligature mark on his neck. It is colloquially called a 'deep mark'. It is usually in the 'U' shape. Which suggests that there was heavy pressure on the throat from a rope or something like that.
The autopsy report did not mention the time of death. Here are some points that have been made in the report.
