Before the CBI took over Sushant's case many reports claimed the involvement of DCP Abhishek Trimukhe in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The media also claimed that the Mumbai Police is compromised and is trying to protect someone prominent.
Going by the reports of News24, the CBI has called Trimukhe for questioning however, the DCP did not come for the interrogation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The CBI has also asked for the questioning of police officers who were present at Sushant's house (crime scene) when the actor died. However, the Mumbai police has responded to the CBI stating all those police officials are on leave at present.
Trimukhe was present at Sushant's house on June 14. Interestingly, Rhea Chakraborty's call records revealed that she in touch with DCP Abhishek Trimukhe from past one year. Now, if Trimukhe and other Mumbai cops do not appear for interrogation, CBI will have the power to take them into custody.
