The CBI has started its second phase of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The agency has sent its team to tighten up the loose ends and gather more evidence before making the closure report in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
The CBI team recently questioned Rhea Chakraborty's neighbor Dimple Thaani on her claims that she saw the actress with Sushant Singh Rajput on June 13. On being questioned by the CBI, Dimple took a u-turn from her statement and said that someone else saw Rhea with Sushant on June 13 and told to her regarding this.
Now the CBI is all set to question the BJP leader Vivekanand Gupta who was the first one to reveal that Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput met on June 13.
Talking to the media channel Gupta said that an eyewitness has told him that Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty met on June 13 and attended a leader's birthday party together. After the party, Sushant went to drop Rhea Chakraborty at her house around 2:30 am. And ironically the actor was found dead at his residence the next day.

Going by the reports of Republic the CBI team is in Mumbai till October 25 till they fly back to Delhi for the closure report. The team is in Mumbai to probe every angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
