The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday told BJP Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy that it is carrying out an intensive and thorough probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
CBI gave a written answer point by point on its working in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. In a detailed reply to BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, Superintendent of Police, CBI, Nupur Prasad, in a letter dated December 30, said: "The CBI is conducting investigation in a thorough and professional manner using latest scientific techniques. During investigation, all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date."
CBI's letter came at a time when Sushant Singh Rajput's fans were demanding the investigative agency to break its silence and give development in the late actor's case. Although CBI has not ruled out any angle including murder, the letter by CBI indeed raised some new questions.
Point 6 of the letter of the CBI states, "The investigating team took over the case papers of Patna Police FIR and also collected the case papers from Mumbai Police," she said, adding that the team also visited all places of concern like Aligarh, Faridabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram's Manesar and Patna."
While Sushant has a connection with Patna, Mumbai, and Faridabad, the actor seems to have o connection with Aligarh, Hyderabad, and Manesar (Gurugram). Sushant's Mumbai connection is well known. The actor's ancestral home is in Patna and it is speculated that the actor had visited his home. While in Faridabad, Sushant's Police Commissioner brother-in-law and his elder sister live.
As per reports, Sushant's room-mate Siddharth Pithani, who was present at the spot when the actor died lives in Hyderabad. But the main question arises why the team of CBI visited Aligarh and Manesar (Gurugram) for the investigation?
Was Sushant doing some project that he had visited these places which the CBI has unearthed and investigated? The questions can also be answered by the CBI.
