On Friday, the Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the result of Class 12th. This is the first time in history that the result is declared without exams.
The scorecard would be available on cbse.nic.in, cbseresult.nic.in. Students can download their marks sheet from the digilocker application or website.
A total of 1,50,152 students scored more than 90 percent marks, among these 70,004 students have scored more than 95 percent marks. The number of students who scored 95-100 percent marks is doubled this year.

This year the girls have performed better than boys by 0.54 percent. The passing percentage of boys is 99.13 percent, girls is 99.67 percent and transgender is 100 percent.
This year the board has achieved the highest passing percentage as almost all students have cleared class 12th result. Of the 13,04,561 candidates who registered for the exam, 12,96,318 have cleared the exam.
This year, 6149 students got compartment. Only 0.47 percent of students would appear for compartment exams. As per the board, compartment exams would be conducted in September.
In 2021, government schools performed better than private schools. The passing percentage of government schools was at 99.72 percent and the passing percentage of independent or private schools was at 99.22 percent.
Kendriya Vidyalayas have broken all the records. The government-run schools have got 100 percent results.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated his “young friends.” PM Modi tweeted, “Congratulations to my young friends who have successfully passed their Class XII CBSE examinations. Best wishes for a bright, happy and healthy future.”

He further wrote, “To those who feel they could have worked harder or performed better, I want to say - learn from your experience and hold your head high. A bright and opportunity-filled future awaits you. Each of you is a powerhouse of talent. My best wishes always.”
“The Batch which appeared for the Class XII Boards this year did so under unprecedented circumstances. The education world witnessed many changes through the year gone by. Yet, they adapted to the new normal and gave their best. Proud of them!”, he continued.
Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, wished for the best future of students and tweeted, “Congratulate my young friends who have cleared the CBSE class XII exams. Happy to learn that @cbseindia29 has achieved a record-high pass percentage. Compliment teachers & parents for their hard work. My best wishes to all the students for their bright future.”
