New Delhi: The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced the much awaited class XII results n the board's official website - cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
Repeating the history, girls once again outperformed the boys, as the results depicts they performed better than boys by 9%. Some 88.70% of girls passed, followed by transgender at 83.3% and boys at 79.4%.

The board declared the total pass percentage of the country is 83.4%. The region with the highest pass percentage is Thiruvananthapuram at 98.2%, followed by Chennai at 92.93% and Delhi at 91.87%. The percentage of students who passed in international schools is 95.43%.
There is a tie between overall toppers as two girls from Uttar Pradesh, Hansika Shukla of DPS Meerut Road, Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora SD Public School Muzaffarnagar topped with 499 out of 500 marks.
An approximate of 13 lakh students appeared for the class 12th examination conducted by the CBSE.
