The
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced its 27th Annual
National Sahodya School Complex Conference on January 17 and 18. The conference
will be conducted online due to covid restrictions. The theme of the conference
this year is 'Punarnava- Rediscovery of India at 75'. The theme is focused on
the 75 years of independence of India.
The
virtual meeting is supposed to be attended by more than 7000 leaders of
schools. The event will be organised by Sahodya Samiti, Gwalior. This
conference will also be part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' program by the Ministry
of Education.
The Chief
Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Governor Mangubhai C. Patel
will be present at the launch of the event. They will be accompanied by Subhas
Sarkar, minister of state, union minister of education and Chairman of CBSE Manoj
Ahuja.
“The
event includes sessions on game-based learning, music as a teaching tool,
climate change, storytelling, archaeology, yoga, mental health and sports.
Discussion on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will also be held. Eminent and
experienced speakers from different domains will share their thoughts and
expertise with the participants. Apart from this, there will be a student art
exhibition and e-souvenir presenting efforts by different schools in
preserving Indian heritage,” said the statement.
The
session will be broadcast live on CBSE's official YouTube channel. The purpose
of the meetings is to develop healthy relationships among schools and bring
schools together.
