In tragic news today, a woman along with 2 men were killed in a high- speed crash on Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway. Their car collided with a trolley full of stubble parked on the roadside. All three of the car’s occupants died on the spot. Police from Police Station-1 had reached the crime scene to investigate. The police have taken the bodies into their custody and sent them for postmortem. Their identities are unknown at the moment. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.
According to the news received, three people in the car died when the car collided with a stationary trolley near the Bal Hospital on the Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway. The accident was so terrible that the trolley went inside the car’s interior and crushed the three people in the car. It is being told that this accident happened due to speeding. After a lot of effort, people managed to take out the mangled corpses of the victim out of the car. The dead bodies were severely damaged according to witnesses. As soon as the information was received, Police Station-1 reached the spot and started investigation. Police station in-charge Sukhbir Singh said that at present the dead are being identified.
According to the information received, the accident happened on Monday afternoon. The car occupants were coming towards Pathankot Chowk from Amritsar. During this, the car went out of control and collided with the back of the tractor. After the incident, people nearby managed to take out the bodies of the three from the wreckage. But all three had unfortunately died. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
