The Prakash Dhaba in Ludhiana, Punjab was attacked by angry youth after the employees refused to give them a Rs 20 water bottle. As per reports, it was after the Dhaba’s closing time due to which the did not give them the water bottle. The accused then abused and attacked the employees with sharp weapons, requiring the victims to be hospitalized. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.
The employees were badly cut-up with the sharp weapons. Reports say that the both the employees had to receive 40 and 60 stitches for their wounds. The owner of the Dhaba, Nitish, said that the incident occurred after 12 midnight on July 9. The injured employees, Sagar and Anand, were at the Dhaba when around 8 to 9 people came there at around 11:45 pm asking for a bottle of water.
The employees refused to give water bottles to the miscreants as the Dhaba was closed. This led to the miscreants abusing Sagar and Anand. The matter escalated so much that the accused attacked both of them with sharp weapons. The accused fled the scene after commiting the act.
Nitish informs that the Sarabha Nagar police station was informed about the matter. The two injured employees have undergone surgery at DMC Hospital. SHO Paramveer Singh said that the statements of the injured will be recorded and the attackers will be arrested soon.
