In a shocking development, a woman activist demanding justice for a 4-year-old minor who was raped and murdered was pushed out from a Police station in Ludhiana. The Jalandhar-based woman activist named Neha reached Ludhiana's Daba Police Station and started demanding the arrest of the accused who raped and murdered the minor a few days back. However, Neha was scolded by the Daba SHO who ended up kicking her out of the Ludhiana Police station premises. The argument between Daba SHO and the woman activist was filmed by another person present there and ever since the video went viral.
In the viral Daba SHO woman activist video, Neha can be seen confronting the Police official over the ongoing investigation of the rape and murder of the minor. Angered by the question, the Policeman screams at her saying to leave the Police station. Neha was heard saying 'aao kutt lo' (come beat me) as the Policeman continued to scream at her. Finally, the Police officers along with Neha came outside the Police station, and a woman constable pushed her out of the premises.
As per reports, Neha is from a Child and Welfare Society. The minor's father reportedly said that they did not want to perform the last rites of the girl till the killer was caught. However, instead of burying the girl, the police forcefully cremated her by burning her.
On the other hand, SHO Kulbir Singh stated that he was talking peacefully with the woman. But, the woman started arguing. On which she was thrown out. Regarding the arrest of the accused in the case, the SHO said that raids are being conducted. The last location of the accused was Ambala. Since then the mobile is switched off. The accused will be arrested soon.
Coming to the case, a four-and-a-half-year-old girl was brutally murdered after being raped in the New Azad Nagar area of Daba in Ludhiana. Following this, the accused absconded after hiding the girl's body in the bed box. The police recovered the girl's body late on the night of 28 December. But the accused is still out of the custody of the police.
A case has been registered against the accused on charges of kidnapping, rape, and murder and he is being searched. The accused has been identified as 24-year-old Sonu, a Resident of Kanpur area of Uttar Pradesh.
