Chandigarh Police books Lakha Sidhana, Sonia Mann, singer Jass Bajwa after farmers march

A case has been lodged against Gangster-turned-activist Lakhvir Singh aka Lakha Sidhana and Rajinder Singh Deep Singh Wala, vice president Kirti Kissan Union, by the Chandigarh police for instigating the protesting farmers. On Saturday, all the above names had taken part in the protest rally organised by the farmers in Chandigarh.

A case has also been registered against Punjabi singer Jass Bajwa and actress Sonia Mann, the police said. Both have also participated in the farmer's March. 

Cases have been booked under the IPC section 186, 188, 332, 353, 147, 148 and 149 at the Chandigarh sector 17 police station. 

Farmers in Chandigarh had called for a protest March on Saturday.

For the unknown, Lakha Sidhana was found guilty in the January 26 Delhi Red Fort riots and was charged for instigating the protesting farmers that had shamed the entire country. He was recently granted bail by the Tis Hazari court until July 3. Sidhana during the protest was caught breaking the barricades and inciting the farmers.
