The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced that it will organize nationwide demonstrations on Tuesday to call for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to act quickly to stop the violence in Manipur. AAP has organized a significant demonstration in Chandigarh and has been requesting a discussion about the violence in Manipur. The party has voiced its concerns and long-standing desire for a discussion of the violence and strife in Manipur in the Parliament.
As AAP leaders and volunteers attempted to scale the barriers during the party's rally against violence in Manipur, the Chandigarh Police fired water cannons against them.
No one from the party is allowed to leave the MLA hostel's grounds, not even the leaders and volunteers. All the Punjab Ministers are present at the protest location.

The party leaders wanted to deliver a message to the governor of Punjab, but the police prevented them from going to the governor's residence. However, a 5-member party delegation has been requested by the police to come forward and deliver the document to their Senior officer, who will then deliver it to the Governor.
